Updated ToU for LoL Coming Soon

Riot Games have always been a stickler for adhering to the rules, in this way it makes League of Legends (LoL) a much nicer environment, hacker-wise. In the next few weeks Riot Games will be updating their Terms of Use policy.

Terms of Use are rules which one must agree to abide by in order to use a service. It can also be merely a disclaimer, especially regarding the use of websites. This is so that there both parties (Riot Games and players) are protected from being taken to court over a minor incident.

It is important to know what is happening within the Terms of Use in any game and LoL is no different. This has come about after Riot Games moved their data centre a few weeks ago. Riot Games are also looking to change quite a few things about LoL, especially the inclusion of its own Jungle Timers, to make things better for new or less-skilled players.

Players in the LoL Telkom Do Gaming League (DGL), as well as its admins, should be keeping up to date with the changes in the Terms of Use policy, to make sure that they are abiding by the rules of the agreement.

To check how your favourite teams in the LoL DGL are doing, you can go to their respective match pages via the game page.

Players can find the older Terms of Use policy on the LoL website at the moment and are encouraged to brush up on the rules before they change as well as after the change.

The 2014 League of Legends Telkom Do Gaming League is sponsored by Razer.
