LoL Winter Leg Games Finished

The final week of the League of Legends (LoL) Telkom Do Gaming League (DGL) 2014 Winter Leg has come to a close and many games were pushed in at the final second.

This past weekend has seen quite a number of games as teams try to get their games in before the end of the Winter Leg. This could give some teams the wins they needed to completely change the look of the results tables.

The Premier Division was the only one to not have a game played this weekend. This is a good showing for the lower tier teams, it shows that games should be scheduled and played well ahead of time so that the final weekend is a “fall back” for if there are problems and matches need to be rescheduled.

It has come to some teams’ attention that the Winter Leg only closes on Friday, 18 July. This is to ensure that teams have had enough time to update their rosters on every match that they have played. Teams should have finished playing their games by now and will not be able to obtain points for games played later than Sunday, 13 July. The extension is only for roster submissions so that teams’ core five players can be updated.

This also gives admins the time to go through all disputes and make sure that everything is copasetic before announcing the teams that will be taking part in the Winter Leg Playoffs, which will take place in the near future.

If you are looking for more information on the results as they stand, go to the LoL portal page and you can find more information on the Winter Leg Playoffs in a previous article.

The 2014 League of Legends Telkom Do Gaming League is sponsored by Razer.
