LoL Registrations Hit a Century

The 2013 Telkom Do Gaming League (DGL) season saw the start of a new era, one in which both Dota 2 and League of Legends (LoL) players played in the same competition.

Registrations in the first year were quite high for LoL but due to some Internet and server problems the 79 teams that entered dwindled to 35. This year, the players are back in force and have proven that they are in support of the LoL DGL by breaking the 100 teams mark.

With registrations being extended, it has given teams even more time to get sorted and registered, although only five teams have registered after the extension. It is great to see that the LoL community has jumped on the band waggon this year.

The top two teams from last year’s Do Gaming Championships (DGC) have re-entered under new management as we see ROCCAT | RE VERA moving over to Energy eSports and Leash.LoL moving over to Team Immersion. It will be great to see these teams go at it again as the finals were quite close.

There are still two days left until registrations close so for those of you who would still like to enter, you can do so via the DGL website.
