New Card Announced; Scant Undefeated

One of the announcements to from Blizzard during the PAX East conference earlier this month was the launch of Hearthstone’s new Naxxramas Adventure mode which would introduce 30 new cards.

Of those 30 cards, the developer revealed that nine would be class specific, the first of which has been announced on the official @PlayHearthstone twitter account – Poison Seeds.

Poison Seeds is a powerful 4-drop common card with the potential to be paired efficiently with several Druid cards, like Savage Roar or Power of the Wild and while it doesn’t exactly clear the board, if used properly it can be a potent equalizer against annoying legendries.

Additionally, five cards were initially revealed at PAX, which you can see below:

Baron Rivendare: 4 Mana / 1 Attack / 7 Health – Your minions trigger their Deathrattles twice.
Nerubian Egg: 2 Mana / 0 Attack / 2 Health – Deathrattle: Summon a 4/4 Nerubian.
Undertaker: 1 Mana / 1 Attack / 2 Health – Whenever you summon a minion with Deathrattle, gain +1 / +1
Shade of Naxxramas: 3 Mana / 2 Attack / 2 Health – Stealth. At the start of your turn, gain +1 / +1.
Dancing Swords: Deathrattle: Your opponent draws a card.

Meanwhile, Anthony 'scant' Hodgson closed off Group C of the 2014 Telkom Do Gaming League (DGL) Premier Playoffs undefeated from seven games.

The Bravado star has ultimately secured his berth in the Winter Leg Premier Division and could be joined by Thorn 'Dup' du Preez provided results go his way.

Furthermore, Francois ‘FaFa’ Mouton’s most recent loss to Peter 'Fancy-Pants' Long How has once again blown Group A wide open.

The former remains top of the log as his competitors play out the remainder of their games while Chris ‘Slider’ Schoeman looks favorite to finish the playoffs in pole position with his final game to come against Saleem 'Slimz' Manjoo later this month.
