Hearthstone Premier Still Anyone’s Game

The Premier Division for the Hearthstone Telkom Do Gaming League (DGL) 2014 Winter Leg is turning out to be one of the most competitive Divisions amongst all the Leagues the DGL has to offer, as multiple players still have the capability of coming out on top come the end of the Leg.

Barry “TreNd” West is currently sitting on top of the leaderboard with a 7 – 0 – 3 standing, followed closely by Anthony “scant” Hodgson, who is sitting at 7 – 0 – 2. This can be accounted for as they are the two players that have played the most games so far during the Leg, and their position is by no means secure.

There is only one player that has taken just a single loss so far during the Winter Leg, Jacques “SelfmOorD” Wentzel, who is currently sitting in sixth place with a 4 – 0 – 1 standing. Wentzel definitely has the potential to be a frontrunner in the Premier Division come the end of the Leg, as he still has multiple matches left to play in the final few weeks of play, and is definitely someone to look out for in the upcoming weeks.

Another potential candidate for a Winter Leg win is Michael “avatarX” Jackson”, who is the only player besides Hodgson that has only taken two losses so far during the leg, and currently resides in fifth position. He faces a tough match this week, as he is set to face West later in the week, which will no doubt be a cracker of a match.
