Coining The Hearth - Get Your Game Casted!

The Hearthstone Telkom Do Gaming League (DGL) 2014 Summer Leg is underway as of today as 294 players get ready to do battle over the course of the next eight weeks.

Although there is not a spectator feature in Hearthstone there is still the ability to get your DGL games casted, all it requires is a little work from your side. Professional Multicasting , one of the casting studios for the DGL this year, has three Hearthstone Casters at the ready, Ben “Noxville” Steenhuisen, Anthony “scant” Hodgson and myself, Richard “DeMoNiK” Sjoberg, all ready to bring as much of the action as possible to the community.

To get your Hearthstone games casted you will have to record what is happening on your PC, which can be done in multiple ways. The most popular program to do this is FRAPS, but we recommend Open Broadcaster Software (OBS) , which has a really easy to use capture function.

One you have captured your game, simply get in touch with one of the casters to either send the video or upload it onto the internet so we will be able to get it, and we will happily cast your game.

The ideal situation would be for both you and your opponent to be recording the game, as we will then be able to do a duel-sided cast to get the best perspective of the game and the decisions being made.

Players are encouraged to stream their games if they have a stream available during the Hearthstone DGL Summer Leg, though are reminded to increase the broadcast delay to prevent players from cheating.

Would you be willing to record your game so that it will be available to cast? Take the poll below to let us know your thoughts:
