Diablo 3 Massive Beta Changes

Blizzard plan to release some massive changes to the Diablo 3 beta very soon after taking all of the beta feedback into consideration.

The blog post on Battle.Net reveals that the developers are changing a lot of things in the game such as the four main attributes that are being change to Strength, Dexterity, Intellect and Vitality. The Cauldron of Jordan and the Nephalem Cube have also both been removed from the game.

Scrolls of Identification have been removed from the game and instead of using the scroll to identify a magic item, players will right click it and after a short cast time, it will be identified. The Stone of Recall exists now which will allow players to return to town and as a result, the Blacksmith artisan will now salvage items.

To read the full post, head over to the blog, there you will also see a small hint from developers which may be the game being delayed.

“Our job isn’t just to put out a game, it’s to release the next Diablo game. No one will remember if the game is late, only if it’s great.”

To me, this just hints that we should expect another delay for Diablo 3.
