HoNThe closing date for teams wishing to enter the third leg of the Telkom Do Gaming Online League 2010 for Call of Duty 4 (CoD4), Battlefield: Bad Company 2 (BC2), Counter-Strike: Source (CS:S) and Heroes of Newerth (HoN) is this week Wednesday, 9 June.
Teams are encouraged to get themselves organised and registered as soon as possible. This is going to be a great leg in all four of these games.
As usual, CoD4 has filled up incredibly well across all five divisions. Bravado took the last leg while Area 52 has been showing huge promise in the Premier League this last leg, and even during this break period. In the last leg the team came second, causing an upset on the usual Bravado / Pantheon top two placings, and so there may be another upset this leg.
The teams signed up for BC2 look good as well. BC2 is going to be exciting this leg as teams will be divided up into divisions and things are going to get a lot more competitive. IG and EAs remained unbeaten in the last leg, but what will happen now? Do Gaming's coverage of this game will be much more in-depth for this leg.
Interesting things are happening in the CS:S league and there are already some interesting sign-ups there. Caucasian Persuasion (cP) managed to win the last leg over Bravado after the latter team lost to Pantheon 16 – 10 and two teams failed to face cP. Pantheon managed to garner a second place for itself in the end.
The HoN league has been very much in the hands of Ventus Gaming and it'll be interesting to see if anyone can displace them of their current dominance. Ventus have been playing a lot of international scrims and this seems to have provided them with the necessary experience to get one up over the rest.
