BFBThe teams to compete this weekend in the Bravado Call of Duty 4 (CoD4) One Night Cup have been decided, and one of them is the mixed team Qoob Gaming. This is the first time Qoob will be in a competition of this type, although previously Qoob did compete in the Best-in-South-Africa (theBISA) competition. But this means that they will be under a lot of pressure to prove themselves on Sunday.
Qoob is just two weeks away from competing in the CoD4 competition at the Antwerp e-Sports Festival (AEF) in Belgium, which takes place from 30 July to 1 August. Do Gaming has been following their preparation as well as their performance when playing friendlies with local teams.
Do Gaming has also been following controversy around Mind Sports South Africa (MSSA) and Qoob Gaming, where MSSA raised concerns over Qoob's involvement in an overseas competition. However, MSSA has gone quiet around the affair and Do Gaming also followed up with the South African Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee (SASCOC) around the matter.
This weekend will show a lot in terms of Qoob's improvement. They will be going against top CoD4 dogs as the Bravado website confirms the following teams who will be playing on Sunday:
Bravado
Pantheon
Area 52
Prodigy
vintaGe
miNt
BFB
And, of course, Qoob Gaming. Do Gaming will be following up on Monday to see who takes the competition, but this is certainly going to be one hot affair as all these top performers battle for the win in one night.
The event fires off at 18:30 on Sunday evening.
