Cranky: RegiMent Can Make the CoD4 Finals

While Bravado (bvd) has once again topped the Call of Duty 4 (CoD4) logs, giving them an advantage for the final DGL 2012 playoffs, it's worth noting BFB RegiMent's second placing in the logs with one draw and one loss against five wins.

Ryan 'SpIkkkE' Kok, captain of the RegiMent team, says they were quite motivated after their win against ASF in week 2. ASF got the first game of that match with a 9 – 13, but RegiMent took things back substantially with a 13 – 6 and then 13 – 10 win afterwards.

“We really saw that we had a chance to get much higher in the logs than we had throughout the year,” he says. “We're grateful for coming second and would like to thank lArd [DGL 2011 Champions] for all the help.”

At the beginning of the leg, Stephen 'A|t3ri5' Sun Lung had to step down due to work commitments and the team brought on Braden 'BraD' Ingram so that they could work with their rAge team (their rAge line-up is below).

“We've been working on our strats and communication and that's helped,” Kok says. “We're going to be doing more of that kind of work for the Championships – we're going to get the whole team up and LAN together, also watching demos and seeing where we need to improve.”

Here is RegiMent's line-up for the Champs:

    Ryan 'SpIkkkE' Kok (Captain)
Joshua 'Fluff_E<3' Forbes (Vice-Captain and Manager)
    Braden 'BraD' Ingram
    Niall 'Nialling' Keegan Ingram
    Stephen 'Rexxar' Underwood

For the upcoming playoffs, the team are taking a week's break before putting in some practice time.

“We're feeling confident. We want to make it to the finals this time and win,” he says.

Kok says that BFB's support including Rynier 'Cranky' Schoeman has been fantastic. Do Gaming decided to get hold of Schoeman and hear his opinion of his fellow team.

“A lot of people wrote them off but they've been really committed. They've given a couple of big teams a scare – ASF, HpX, DI – some couldn't touch them. I'm really happy with them and love their modesty,” he says.

“I can foresee another Bravado versus BFB final at the Championships this year – except this time, it'll be RegiMent,” Schoeman says.

It's playoffs time next and then onto the Championships. First Division teams BaWsCoD4, .UbS|pRey, 32B|auRa are set to give the current Premier teams a serious scare, in addition to the DGL 2011 Champions, BFB laRd, entering Premier. It's going to be exciting to see the culmination of the online CoD4 leagues as the teams that have worked so well through the ranks finally enter Premier and we start to see a shake-up.

Here's what the final third leg logs for the Premier League look like:
