It's now two weeks into play in the Telkom Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (MW3) DGL 2012 second leg, brought to you by Alienware, Megarom and Monster Energy, and Vitriolic – first leg Champions Cup runner up – has got a draw to its name after xTc pulled the third round in their match to a victory.
This has put Bravado and impi, the latter being the first leg Champions Cup winners, right at the top, who both have enjoyed two wins and zero losses thus far. Impi faced HpX | Gameover in the first leg and mG in the second, while Bravado went up against rEN's Team Tritton and then xTc.
Alienware is sponsoring five PC's to the MW3 the DGL 2012 Championships.
But Bravado's win almost went the same way when xTc pulled the first map (Underground) into a draw. Underground was the same map that xTc beat Vitriolic in for their third map, forcing that entire match into a draw. Here's how these two games went down score-wise:
XTc vs Vitriolic:
Bakaraa - 12-12 Lockdown - 15-9 to vtl Underground - 10 - 14 to xTc
XTc vs Bravado:
Underground - 12-12 Lockdown - 13-11 to bvd bakaara - 13-3 to bvd
Megarom has sponsored R50,000 to the DGL 2012 Championships.
In both games, the exact same maps were played, but xTc pulled their strongest performances off Underground. Interestingly, however, Bakaraa was a draw against Vitriolic, but against Bravado xTc look like they might have just rather packed it up for the night: 13 – 3 to bvd?
Was this the nerves playing up? Perhaps so. And if so, we can expect to see some great things coming from this team in the very short future. All they need to do is focus.
Looking ahead, impi will be facing Vitriolic in week 4 and will only face Bravado in the very last week of the leg. Week 5 is also due to be a big week as Vitriolic and Bravado go head to head. This will also be the week where xTc will have another chance to truly shine as they face impi.

Although they made the Premier League, it's unfortunate that KK Paradox have pulled out the league.
