Ghosts Sequel Already in the Works

Players were left asking following the end of Call of Duty: Ghosts single player campaign and Infinity Ward producer Mark Rubin has hinted that the sequel is already in the works.

Players that have finished the short campaign already have some idea what's going to happen, and Rubin confirms that they're already "working on" the story of the next game.

In an interview with Metro, Rubin notes that the ending does give the team "a sort of stepping stone to the next game," but added that "the full context of that story to come is being worked on as we speak."

Despite virtually confirming a 2014 sequel, Rubin waved away reports of a potential hit post-apocalyptic FPS trilogy.

“[I] Don’t know. Actually don’t know [about a third sequel]. Until we start finishing up this story.”

Activision recently announced that Call of Duty: Ghosts generated $1 billion in worldwide revenue on launch day.

Call of Duty: Ghosts released on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, Wii U, and Xbox 360 on Tuesday, 5 November.
