[HRO]SixSense Smash through BT Playoffs

[HRO]SixSense have all but secured promotion following consecutive victories in the 2014 Telkom Do Gaming League (DGL) Ghosts PC Summer Breakthrough Playoffs.

The team finished fourth in the Summer Leg Open Division, a massive 11 points off leaders eR`Dark Knights, who gained automatic qualification to next season’s Winter Leg.

Despite the difficult first leg, the HEYRO-GAMING outfit has bounced back to take maximum points from all five of their playoff games, including a crucial win over rivals ECU[UCG] , 13-7 on Warhawk and 13-5 on Freight.

“We came into the playoffs as the underdogs, so the pressure was on us to perform,” says Louw.

“The first few games were really important and picking up consecutive wins gave the team a massive boost in confidence. ECU[UCG] had beaten us before so it was great to to get one over on them as we look to maintain our undefeated streak.”

Back-to-back victories sees [HRO]SixSense rooted firmly at the top of the log with their last match against HEYRO-GAMING Teammates [HRO]NrT.

Interestingly, SixSense are in a peculiar position. The team are all but guaranteed a place in the Winter Leg First Division, 14 points clear of their nearest rivals while teammates NrT still have everything to play for.

The latter managed to scrape past RwtF"oB before a shock defeat to 32b` Tainted Sanity saw them drop points to sit third on the league table.

A win against their teammates this week, would go a long way in their own fight for promotion and while technically, [HRO]SixSense could risk the result, a loss for the log leaders COULD see the Premier Playoffs plummet into a heartbreaking tie breaker.

It will certainly be a difficult and emotional confrontation for both teams, with Louw previously stating that their allies would be given no quarter come their showdown later this week.

“They [NrT] will not be given the luxury of a free win from our side, if they want a top finish they will have to come and take it," Louw added.
