Forty for Ghosts PC

Registrations for the 2014 Telkom Do Gaming League (DGL) Ghosts PC Winter Leg closed this morning on 40 entries, ten shy of the summer tally.

Heavyweights Energy eSports and Bravado Gaming were among the first teams to sign up with the two looking to continue their heated rivalry up until the 2014 Do Gaming Championships.

Both outfits shared the spoils of the Ghosts PC Summer Leg Premier Division after eN.Blaze handed bvd COD:Ghosts their first defeat of the season to tie up the top of the table.

The two would clash again in the cup final of the #CODeSports Insta-Clash tournament which saw eN.Blaze take a decisive final map to close off the series 3-2.

The victory marked Blaze’s second win over their rivals in the space of two weeks but would not see the end of the team’s dramatic run-of-form.

Astoundingly, having being knocked down to the loser’s bracket by Bravado in the CANSA Liberty LAN tournament, eN.Blaze bounced back to secure a place in the grand finale and ultimately completed the comeback against their heated rivals, taking first place and a massive third consecutive victory over one of the country’s top MGOs.

HEYRO-GAMING also returns to field four teams in the Winter Leg First Division while they were unable to keep hold of star outfit [HRO]SixSense, who have left to join Teenage Mutant Turbo Ninja's, despite a stunning playoff campaign performance for the parent clan.

Having secured First Division promotion of their own, 32b` Tainted Sanity have since retired from league competition as they failed to register for the Winter Leg. The exact reason for the team’s late exit is still unknown.
