Bravado Gaming Look to Liberty

Bravado Gaming will be looking to re-establish themselves as the country’s top MGO with a clean sweep at next weekend’s CANSA Liberty LAN Easter Tournament at Emperors Palace.

bvd have entered teams for all three tournament titles and are strong favourites to finish top after an impressive Summer Leg performance, especially on LAN.

“The mood in the Bravado camp is awesome with our primary sponsor Alienware flying our players in from all over South Africa, coupled with fully paid entrance fees and hotel bookings to attend the CANSA Liberty Lan Easter Tournament,” says Bravado owner Andreas 'Cent' Hadjipaschali.

“The teams are preparing hard as we look to our first major LAN event of the 2014 season. The CANSA Easter tournament also marks the first time we will be representing Alienware, Intel and Courier IT so we’re hoping to put in some good results.”

“I think for Bravado Gaming, we are at our best on LAN with our players possessing a great deal of big-match-temperament (BMT) in knockout tournaments,”
Hadjipaschali added.

bvd EMOTION and bvd Blue [DOTA 2]

Together, both Bravado outfits managed a top three finish in the 2014 Telkom Do Gaming League (DGL) DOTA 2 Summer Leg Premier Division with EMOTION in particular finishing top of the group, undefeated.

bvd Blue slipped to third with a 2-1 defeat to second place finishers [NSD]Full on Jukes in the closing week of league competition but could be primed for an all Bravado final with Never Say Die failing to register for the CANSA Liberty LAN – as of yet.

bvd COD:Ghosts [Call of Duty: Ghosts]

The veteran outfit found themselves rooted at the top of the 2014 Telkom Do Gaming League (DGL) Ghosts PC Summer Leg Premier Division for the majority of season but slipped up to eN.Blaze in the closing week of league competition to find themselves joint-winners alongside Energy eSports.

Bravado had ‘nothing to lose’ heading into the fixture, knowing a loss would still see them top of the table but Blaze had everything to gain, as they managed back-to-back wins, 13-5 and 13-11 on Warhawk and Octane respectively to ultimately see them tied for first.

Blaze continued to impose themselves over their rivals with a hard fought 3-2 win in the #CODeSports Insta-Clash Cup this past weekend but its Bravado who will head into the CANSA Easter Tournament full of confidence having piped their rivals to the Do Gaming Championship last October, on LAN.

bvd Counterstrike:GO [CS:GO]

The Do Gaming Champions endured their most disappointing season in recent years to finish third in the Telkom Do Gaming League (DGL) CS:GO Summer Leg Premier Division behind rivals Damage Control and Energy eSports.

Despite the result, Bravado will be in fine form next weekend at the CANSA Easter Tournament at Emperors Palace, having established themselves as arguably the country’s most consistent team on LAN.

In October 2013, bvd Counterstrike:GO bounced back from the loser’s bracket to defeat DC.CS:GO 3-1 and claim yet another Do Gaming Championship and will hope to carry that prolific form into the knockout tournament series on Friday, 18 April.
