New BF4 DLC Adds 'Titan mode'

Battlefield 4's Naval Strike downloadable content (DLC) will release in March 2014 for Battlefield Premium subscribers on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Windows PC.

The DLC will introduce five new weapons, an amphibious hovercraft vehicle, ten new assignments and the all-new Carrier Assault mode, which is an homage to the fan-favourite, 'Titan mode' from Battlefield 2142.

The original mode featured two teams whose sole objective was to destroy the opposing team's 'Titan' warship.

According to the official announcement, the new Carrier Assault mode in Battlefield 4 serves as a re-imagining of the 'Titan mode' from Battlefield 2142.

Meanwhile Battlefield 4's Second Assault downloadable content will be released on 18 February.

The expansion was delayed following EA's decision to halt work on all upcoming DLC to focus on pressing concerns experienced across multiple platforms in Battlefield 4.

Could the Carrier Assault mode be a viable option come the Telkom Do Gaming League BF4 Winter Leg?
