BF4 Update 3 June



A new update has hit Battlefield 4 (BF4) PC clients today, which is sure to please competitors in the BF4 Telkom Do Gaming League (DGL) 2014 Winter Leg, as DICE continues to stabilise its game.

The update comes with a few server-side improvements, such as improved character collision, as well as a mismatch between the object damage between client side and server.

The biggest change that comes with the update is the rate in which players are updated on the server as they travel through, either on foot or in a vehicle. Players travelling in vehicles will have a high frequency “bubble”, meaning they will be checked and updated more regularly on the server side than those travelling on foot, and should get rid of some discrepancies that have been happening in the past.
