BF4: Naval Strike DLC Releases This Month

DICE has released the first screenshots for its latest downloadable content (DLC) for Battlefield 4, “Naval Strike” which is due to release towards the end of March.

Despite the fact that the game still has multiple stability and net-code issues that have already been seen during the BF4 Telkom Do Gaming League (DGL) 2014 Summer Leg, DICE still seems intent to push out DLC’s as quickly as they possibly can instead of fixing their game.

The Naval Strike DLC is a “water combat” focused expansion, and will feature four new maps, set in the South China Sea. The DLC will also come with five new weapons, an amphibious hovercraft and a new mode, Carrier Assault mode, which is a throwback to BF2142’s Titan mode.

Naval Strike is the third of five planned DLC’s to be released since the game’s launch in November last year, and all the DLC’s can be picked up for a discounted price by buying the Season pass.

You can’t help but get the feeling that DICE are releasing DLC’s in an attempt to try and keep people happy, but each DLC seems to add more problems than it fixes. Hopefully, Naval Strike does not come with its own problems as well.
