BF4 Naval Strike DLC Delayed on PC

EA and DICE have confirmed that the new Naval Strike DLC for Battlefield 4 has been delayed on PC.

According to Battlelog, DICE announced that the studio has decided to delay the launch of Battlefield 4′s ocean combat-themed Naval Strike multiplayer expansion on the PC after discovering an issue. They also intend to hold off on release until work on a “larger update” is complete.

“We are delaying the launch of Battlefield 4 Naval Strike on PC. We’ve detected an issue and it needs to be solved. Quality is our number one priority and we will not release Battlefield 4 Naval Strike on PC until we feel it meets the highest quality level possible,” says DICE.

“We are also working on a larger update to release alongside Battlefield 4 Naval Strike on PC that will address the issue of Tablet Commander not working correctly. Once we have a confirmed date for PC, we’ll be sure to update those players on our official channels. We appreciate your patience and look forward to seeing everyone on the Battlefield.”

Release for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 will remain on schedule with the expansion set to launch today, Tuesday, 25 March.

It’s still unknown when the PC version will be ready for release.
