BF4 DGL 5v5 Mode Changed to Domination

The official mode for the Battlefield 4 (BF4) 5v5 Telkom Do Gaming League (DGL) 2014 Summer Leg has changed from Defuse to Domination as of today, due to the inherent problems still continuing in DICE’s new mode.

Domination is the competitive mode used in the ESL tournaments, and the DGL will use the ESL rule set for the 5v5 tournament. You can check them out here.

Robert “Infy” Hart, head admin of the DGL, explained the need to change mode:

“We've changed BF4 5v5 from Defuse to Domination due to game-breaking bugs in the defuse mode which DICE has not fixed in time for the league.

Teams who entered into the defuse competition begin playing domination today. The DGL has also opened registrations for additional domination teams until 9 Feb.”

Teams who have already entered the league and do not wish to play if the mode is domination may submit a ticket on the DGL website to get their team removed.

If you did not want to play Defuse, but are keen on the idea of Domination, simply follow the link below to get your team registered:

The change to Domination is immediate, so the 32 teams that start their Summer Leg journey today will be playing Domination for the entire Leg. To check out the groups and fixtures, click on the link:
