Uphill Battle for [NSD]Sons Of Liberty

The [NSD]Sons of Liberty ([NSD]SoL) squad is one of the current frontrunners in the Battlefield 3 Telkom Do Gaming League (DGL) 2013 Winter Leg, and have yet to lose a game so far. Over the next few weeks they face up against increasingly stronger sides, with the culmination being their pick ‘n play match against bvd.BF3 in the final days of the Leg, and one of the most anticipated matches in the Premier Division.

Do Gaming managed to get a few words with Tyron “Prokill” Bataille, vice – captain of the Never Say Die side, to talk about his squad and how they are faring. He feels like the [NSD]SoL team fares well so far, but they have been facing the less experienced sides in the opening weeks of the Leg. He continued, “RFH will be the 3rd hardest team we have faced so far and we hope to keep our streak unbeaten till we meet bvd in the last game. We have alot of good games to build up to that, giving use a boost.”

Bataille feels although they will have to work hard, [NSD]SoLshould be able to take the win off of their Week Six match against RFH Black Legion. He feels that the gap between the Premier Division teams and others is growing for the most part, but there are teams in the lower leagues that definitely have the potential to cause some trouble in the future, such as CC, dM, BzK and DvG.

The Battlefield 3 DGL 2013 is sponsored by EA.

As for preparation, [NSD]SoL has been hard at work, practicing and perfecting their strategies so that they have the strongest chance possible of winning. All the [NSD] members feel that they have grown enough in strength to take the titan that is bvd.BF3 at the end of the leg, and both teams are itching to get this match done and dusted.

First things first however, as the [NSD] squad is still due to play their match against the Premier Division SSG side, [SSG]Umshiniwam, later today. This match was granted an extension from Week Five, and a win here would put them tied in second place. If they take down RFH over the weekend, [NSD]SoL could very likely see themselves at the top of the Premier Division as we enter the final two weeks of the Leg.

Bataille assured us that tonight’s match will definitely be a “humdinger”, as NSD and SSG know each other’s gameplay better than most (Alistar “Coweater” Ho is apparently a TeamSpeak spy), so the rounds are sure to be tense to the bitter end.
