NSD Invitational Moving into Semis

The Never Say Die (NSD) Invitational’s are taking place over the course of this month, as eight teams fight it out in the most broadcasted Battlefield tournament South Africa has seen to date. Play started on 3 September, so there has already been plenty of action to catch up on if you missed the initial matches.

=iK=Syntax and eLement – Lithium managed to successfully navigate their way through the Winners Bracket to get themselves into a comfortable Winners Bracket Semi – Final and in with a good shot at the prizes thanks to some convincing games from both teams. Their semi – final duel is set to take place on Tuesday at 8pm, so be sure to catch the action live as it is sure to be an exciting match.

The lower bracket of our double elimination is an interesting one, as RFH Black Legion and [CC]-Cream have already exited the tournament after two straight losses. To further add to the drama, it seems that [SSG] Umshiniwam is going to forfeit their Round 2.5 match against [TE]Infamous, sending them through to the lower bracket semi’s, a situation I’m sure they did not want to let happen.

As for who [TE]Infamous will be taking on next week, that is now up to our remaining lower bracket game, as [NSD]Sons Of Liberty fight BzK – Furia for their life in their own competition. The Never Say Die squad was the highest seeded team from the DGL Winter Leg to enter the competition, so everything is on the line for them in the next couple of matches.

If you want to check out the brackets, the Do Gaming League (DGL) site has politely given the NSD Invitational some space on their site, just click on the link below:
