HpX | D.E.M.O.N.S Retire from Battefield 3

Johann “Ging3r_Ninj4” Wolfaardt made a post on Monday on the Do Gaming League (DGL) forum announcing their retirement from the 2013 Telkom DGL. HpX | D.E.M.O.N.S had a good start to the year, coming third overall in First Division for our Summer Leg with a 5 – 0 – 3 final tally.

Unfortunately they could not carry that success into the Summer Playoffs, achieving third place in Group A, meaning that they narrowly missed their Premier League spot. Wolfaardt has assured us that they will be back for next year’s DGL, hopefully in the Battlefield 4 League, and will still be playing casually if anyone would like to play them.

Here is the post Wolfaardt made over on the DGL Forum:

The HpX | D.E.M.O.N.S bids farewell to BF3 and the 2013 DGL

It has been one heck of a journey since the start of the BF 3 DGL last year until now but it's time to hang up our proverbial boots and lay to rest what could have been another epic and very interesting LEG of Battlefield 3.

After a team meeting was held last night we decided it would be in the team’s best interest to retire from the DGL and take a well deserved break from competitive gaming and re-enter the DGL in 2014 when the BF 4 competitive season kicks off

RAGE DGC is the ultimate in competitive gaming in SA at the moment and having had the opportunity to participate in last year’s DGC made it so much more worth it playing BF 3 as a competitive team

On behalf of the D.E.M.O.N.S I would like to thank the DGL for hosting and providing us with a legitimate competitive platform, keep it up and good luck with the 2nd LEG.

We would also like to thank the BF 3 community for all the epic and well fought "team battles" and also for the support we received from some clans up until now. We've had our fare share of close games, white washes and some pretty bad losses and throughout the intense and chaotic moments we still had our fun and laughter moments whilst gaming, which made up for all the hours spent practicing and getting to know strats.

To all of you buggers, keep at it and good luck with the 2013 DGL Winter LEG.

PS. We'll still be around on Sundays if anyone wants a friendly

[HpX]Ging3r_Ninj4 out!!!
