This week in the Battlefield 3 (BF3) Telkom Do Gaming League (DGL) 2013 looks set to be a critical one for [SSG] Umshiniwam and =ASF=AquilA as the two top dog teams in the Premier League are to clash on Sunday.
Both teams have enjoyed a clear run through the first two weeks of the Summer Leg – Aquila winning against [SiB]Hammer in week 1 and then taking out their fellow clan-mates Hawks last week.
That game went much like many expected it to. The ASF teams hopped onto Damavand to start with AquilA taking the first round with 162 tickets on hand. After that the Hawks struck back, but not enough, bringing that round to 64 tickets to Hawks' zero.
It was then onto Bazaar, clearly the most popular map in the League right now, with AquilA taking the map convincingly, finishing with a total of 374 tickets on hand.
[SSG] Umshiniwam first took out [grrr]Baggers in week 1 before taking out [TE]Infamous last week – something of a key week as it puts Infamous on the backfoot with one win and one loss. Those points put the team on the same footing as RFH Black Legion, with these two teams creating something of a divide in the Premier League while the other teams are either enjoying clear runs of wins or have a clear run of losses.
But [TE]Infamous are due to face Bravado on Sunday, a game that's expected to go in Bravado's favour. Do Infamous have a chance?
What can we expect to see from the [TE]Infamous and Bravado game this week?
The other key game of this last week was iM versus NSD, covered in an earlier story. The rest of this coming week looks like it may be business-as-usual. However, [grrr]Baggers are going to come on strong against iM and, with iM's recent losses, the team may be demotivated. We'll have to see.
IM vs Baggers – who's game?
Back to the big game for this week. AquilA are facing Bravado next week and a win against SSG this week will put them in a brilliant position to end the leg off well and enter the Playoffs with a good seed. So will they take SSG? Or will SSG have the upper hand?
The big game with ASF Aquila and SSG Umshiniwam this week – what's the verdict?
