BzK-Furia, although currently sitting in fifth position in the Battlefield 3 (BF3) Telkom Do Gaming League (DGL) 2013 Winter Leg, have the potential to finish in a podium spot come the end of the Leg if they win both of their remaining matches against RFH Black Legion and eLement – Lithium, starting with the Rebels From Hell squad match tonight.
BzK-Furia currently sit on 22 points, with [TE]Infamous sitting on 23 and eLement – Lithium on 26. The difference is in the games places, as the BeZerK Gaming side still has two matches left to play, while the other two teams only have one.
Since the match tonight is actually their Week Seven match (it received an extension until today), if they win against RFH Black Legion they will actually shoot up to sit tie with the Lithium side on 26 points as they enter the final week.
The Battlefield 3 DGL 2013 is sponsored by EA.
This ultimately means if they win tonight, they will be fighting it out for a provisional third place finish in their final week match against eLement – Lithium, as both teams will be tied for points. [TE]Infamous still have an outside chance, but will have to best the extremely strong [NSD]Sons of Liberty side to get there, a tough ask from any team in the Premier Division.
As for tonight’s match, Do Gaming managed to get in a quick word with Johan “Zaphire” Heymans, captain of BzK-Furia, to ask what he felt about tonight’s game. Heymans and his team feel that if everything goes according to plan they will take tonight’s game. He then went on to say that their plan is to win tonight and secure fourth place at the least, and then focus on their match against eLement for the coming week, as they feel that could definitely go either way.
Who do you think will take the win? Are RFH Black Legion going to go down fighting, or are BzK-Furia going to march closer to a podium finish? Take the poll below and let us know.
