Week Three was a good one for [NSD]Sons of Chaos in the Battlefield 3 Telkom Do Gaming League (DGL) 2013 Winter Leg, as they managed to take down the RFH Dark Sentinels squad to further improve their standings in First Division.
Fred “play3r_za” Henning wrote a player review of the match over on the Never Say Die Website so we can get a closer look into their thoughts behind the game.
After losing last week to the strong –BFC-PubHeroes side, [NSD]SoC knew they had to change things up if they wanted to win, as their strategies were becoming well-known and predictable. With some freshly practiced strats, they entered the match against RFH Dark Sentinels by trying out one of these new ideas in their opening round, and to great success, taking the first round of Bazaar by 208 tickets.
The Battlefield 3 DGL 2013 is sponsored by EA.
The [NSD] side continued to dominate, and only lost eight tickets in round two thanks to some good execution, giving them the map one win. With the other map being Seine Crossing, a map they had not practiced, they had to pull out all the stops to take map two.
Using lessons learnt from previous friendly matches against the strong eLement gaming side, [NSD]Sons of Chaos took down both rounds convincingly with 224 and 219 tickets respectively.
It seems the Never Say Die team is adapting and learning from teams around them, and could look to throw an upset into the First Division before the end of the Winter Leg.
