Watch Dogsis an upcoming 2014 open world action-adventure video game developed and published by Ubisoft.
The storyline of the game is built around the concept of information warfare, data being interconnected, and the world's increasing use of technology.
The game is set in an alternate reality version of Chicago, Illinois and will see players take on the role of vigilante Aiden Pearce who can hack into various electronic devices tied to the city's central operating system.
Examples include hacking into people's phones to retrieve bank data and steal funds, triggering malfunctions in equipment to distract other characters and hacking into traffic lights to cause collisions.
Players can also receive information on civilians via augmented reality feeds, providing the player with information on demographics, health and potential behaviour.
After the debacle of Dragon Age II,BioWare took its time with the next big title, the third entry to the Dragon Age saga.
Dragon Age Inquisition goes more into the direction of being an open world game and the developer has pressed that all the feedback from Dragon Age II had been taken into consideration so we can surely expect a much broader experience.
Creative Director Mike Laidlaw confirmed that the overall plot of Dragon Age: Inquisition will be "saving the world from itself".
The story in Dragon Age: Inquisition will be much more open-endedin contrast to its previous games, where the stories were more linear. It will primarily involve an all-out civil war between mages and templar's, the foundations of which comprise the main plot of Dragon Age II.
Furthermore, according to Dragon Age writer David Gaider, the story of the first game's Warden "is over" which means Dragon Age: Inquisition will showcase a new protagonist.
While the game is currently accessible on Steam’s early access program, it is still far from finished, slotted for a true release sometime next year.
Planetary Annihilation takes the real time strategy game formula of Supreme Commander to yet another level, going up to a planetary scale.
There will be huge multiplayer battles with 40 and more players participating as well as a single player campaign.
Lead game developer Jon Mavor commented that the game is planned to feature a planet-based map system, including multiple star systems, different types of planets and asteroids.
Players will be able to conquer other planets and even entire systems on maps said to include "hundreds of worlds". These planets are also planned to be dynamic in that they can be 'annihilated' using asteroids, a major focus for Uber Entertainment.
Titanfall varies from its Call of Duty counterpart in that it is a multiplayer-only experience that promises to change the way we look at, and play first-person shooters as players are encouraged to scale walls, leap from building to building, and pilot gigantic mechs that tower over the battlefield.
Players will fight either on foot as free-running "pilots" or inside agile mech-style walkers called "Titans" to complete team-based objectiveson a derelict and war-torn planetas either the Interstellar Manufacturing Corporation (IMC) or the Militia.
Despite being online multiplayer-only, the game injects single-player elements such as plot, character chatter, and non-player characters into its matches.
Respawn Entertainment founder Vince Zampella described the game as bringing "scale, verticality, and story" to first-person shooter multiplayer gaming.
