Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata has detailed the Wii U’s system features.
According to CVG, Iwata detailed the features during the latest Nintendo Direct presentation, explaining that the Wii U Premium Edition weighs a “whopping” 4.2 kilograms.
Iwata explained that after first booting up the Wii U console system, you’ll need to make yourself a Wii U user account. This account can hold up to ten users, each with their own Mii, which contains player details, game settings, save data and play history.
If you want to use the video chat or online services, you’ll need to create a Nintendo Network ID, which is compatible with other Nintendo gaming systems, smartphones and PCs.
And finally, you’ll need to download a Wii U system update to fully activate the console’s functionality.
