THQ's Titles to be Sold Off Piecemeal

The latest on THQ's bankruptcy has the company agreeing to auction off select franchises title by title, and studios, according to numerous reports including Polygon. The auction is happening on 22 January.

THQ filed for bankruptcy in December and Clearlake Capital Group sought to purchase the company's assets. Electronic Arts and Warner Bros. are among the parties interested in buying, apparently.

What will become of Darksiders, Company of Heroes, Metro, WWE and a myriad of THQ's successes? And what are EA and Warner Bros. interested in? Could these companies continue to make good on these popular franchises? We'll have to see how things progress.
