The Witcher 3 Confirmed

According to Game Informer, a new open-world entry in The Witcher series will be launching in 2014.

CD Projekt RED has also revealed that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will take place in a world rivalling the size of Skyrim and will improve upon the last two titles considerably – thirty times the size, to be exact. The game will run on CD Projekt’s REDengine 3 and is being designed for next-generation consoles and the PC.

Details are scarce but Game Informer has suggested that protagonist Geralt’s memory has been restored and that the events of The Witcher 3 will play heavily on his personal story. There is the possibility of mounts but as it stands, all that has been confirmed is that Geralt is now rocking a bad-ass beard.
