Tom ClancyUbisoft obviously have a sense of humour because now they have officially set the release date for Splinter Cell: Conviction in stone. Quite literally, according to ShackNews - it’s in stone.
The title was due in 2007 and has suffered a lot of delays, but the game is now finally set for release on 16 April 2010 for European territories. Various outlets overseas were sent an actual stone from Ubisoft with the release date inscribed on the stone.
To then clarify, in case any information was misconstrued, Ubisoft sent out a tweet that Splinter Cell: Conviction will be released on 13 April in the US and 16 April in the UK on both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
