Bethesda has finally revealed a date for the Dragonborn DLC on PC for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
The date for release is 5 February this year for the downloadable content (DLC) which was launched back in December for the Xbox 360. The reason for the early Xbox 360 DLC release is from an exclusive agreement between Microsoft and Bethesda. The Dragonborn DLC will also be coming to PlayStation 3 after a long time of the console having no DLC whatsoever.
The release of the Dragonborn DLC on PC and PS3 marks the first time that the PS3 has had any sort of DLC for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim as the development team have had huge issues trying to get the DLC running on the PS3 copy of the game. Thankfully though, Bethesda seem to understand this and, as a result, will be offering Dawguard and Hearthfire DLC to PlayStation 3 users at a discounted rate of 50 percent off during the launch week of Dragonborn.
According to the Bethblog, Dragonborn will be released on PS3 first followed by Hearthfire and then Dawnguard. The blog says that all three of the DLC packs should be out in February along with the 1.8 patch release.
