Today marks another patch for League of Legends. As we all know the EU West servers have been faulty from the get go, Riot Games have been trying to fix all the bugs with their server maintenance updates and so far it has worked out well.
Right now there are two “unused” patches on the live servers that don’t have any of the PBE (public beta environment) changes, so with any luck we will see these changes implemented in the upcoming patches.
On 28 February, ranked queues will be disabled in preparation for patch 3.03. At 11:00am CET the servers will be shut down, all games in progress will end in a draw and they will skip waiting for stats. It is estimated that the battlegrounds will be unavailable for the EU West Summoners for six hours.
There has been a lot of complaints from the EU West Summoners over the years about the broken servers and how unfair it is that the servers are never working properly, hopefully this patch will bring about a change in the servers.
