HotS Beta Ending Soon

According to an official statement released on the Blizzard site last Friday, Starcraft 2 Heart of the Swarm (HotS) beta will be closed as of 1 March in preparation for the games release later the same month.

Heart of the Swarm is the second title in Blizzard's planned three-game series and has undergone extensive public testing since beta began late last year.

In the statement, Blizzard thanks gamers for their continuous support and encourages those involved to continue playing up until the closing date.

“We’re incredibly thankful for the feedback and data our testers have produced throughout the beta, and we hope that all testers continue to practice, prepare, and pursue XP levels in the beta through the end of February,” said the development team.

HotS will release on 12 March as a PC exclusive.
