Rockstar has announced the release window for Grand Theft Auto V (GTA V) which confirms what we originally thought.
In a previous article, a poster was leaked showing off some dates for GTA V and, as it turns out, Rockstar has today confirmed the dates. In the press release it states that “Grand Theft Auto V is expected to launch worldwide during spring 2013 for the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360”.
This means that, should the game have a Spring release in the USA, it will have an Autumn release for South Africans, so we can expect the game between March and June next year. As of 5 November 2012, gamers will be able to pre-order the game worldwide.
For the time being, it seems that Rockstar are not interested in talking about the PC version of the game so it’s unclear yet if GTA V is going to make it to PC. At the very least, if it does, it will be coming at a much later date.
