Outlast’s Official Trailer Released

The next official trailer of the Outlast puzzle has been released, following its very confusing but oh-so-intriguing teaser trailer released just two weeks ago.

According to Eurogamer, the Official trailer doesn’t actually show any gameplay but it does take you inside the Mount Massive Asylum and gives hints as to what we can expect from this survival horror title.

Red Barrels’ co-founder Phillipe Morin says, “The core of the game is pretty much like a stealth game. You have to avoid enemies, hide from enemies and run away from enemies. But the action comes into play when you have to run from them, so this is where we are using our experience making games like Prince of Persia and Assassin’s Creed. To try and make the chases as exciting as possible.”

Red Barrels hasn’t yet released a title but the team is made up of expert developers who have worked on some of the world’s most memorable titles, including Assassin’s Creed, Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, Splinter Cell and Uncharted.
