Next Metal Gear Solid Incoming

Kojima Productions will be recruiting for the next Metal Gear Solid game which seems to be targeted at “high end consoles and PC”.

Although things haven’t been confirmed yet, Hideo Kojima, the brains behind Metal Gear Solid, says that making another addition to the franchise would be something he would have to do.

So far, the recruitment portal is looking for project engineers, engineers to develop the next-gen game engine and productions brand managers.

People who are interested will be asked to attend the Konami booth at GDC which runs in the second week of March.

Joystiq reports that the next Metal Gear Solid will have a new Fox Engine which will be designed to work on consoles and PC.

I’m really looking forward to another Metal Gear Solid and I’m hoping the game stays close to its roots. Perhaps the best thing I ever experienced was fighting against Psycho Mantis in the first Metal Gear Solid when changing the controller from port one to port two would prevent the villain from reading your mind.
