SEGA has released another E3 trailer [below] for Alien: Isolation titled "Accolades", which details the game’s imperative success throughout the Electronic Entertainment Expo.
Developed by Creative Assembly, the game will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Windows PC on 7 October 2014.
“We're honored to have been nominated for over 40 E3 Awards,” reads the official Alien: Isolation Facebook page.
“We also scared a fair few people when we were there. See what they had to say in our E3 Accolades Trailer”
Isolation takes place fifteen years after the events of Alien, and sees Ellen Ripley's daughter Amanda, "underpowered and under-prepared", enter a desperate battle for survival as she attempts to unravel the truth behind her mother's disappearance.
Gameplay is very similar to that of recent indie survival horror hits such as Amnesia: The Dark Descent and Outlast, in that players will not be given weapons and must instead traverse the remains of space station Sevastopol in terror.
More specifically, the game will feature only one Alien (Xenomorph) that cannot be killed, requiring the player to use stealth tactics to survive.
Alien Isolation will release for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Windows PC on 7 October 2014.
