Multiplayer Beta Launches for God of War: Ascension

Gamers who are part of the PlayStation Plus elite group can now download the multiplayer beta for God of War: Ascension.

Players who manage to get access to it will be able to play two of the four God Allegiances characters with three different modes to play as well. Gamers can take part in eight-man Capture the Flag or Team Favor of the Gods or four-man Free for All. Up for grabs are the two maps, Desert of Lost Souls and Forum of Hercules. The first is a large open area while the second is an arena where gamers can take each other down.

It’s only a small taste of what’s to come though because the full game has both Hades and Poseidon God Allegiances that players can make use of. There are also more maps, customisation options and an unannounced multiplayer mode where it’s understood that killing is key.
