More XCOM: Enemy Unknown DLC in 2013

CVG reports that 2K Games plans to release more downloadable content for XCOM: Enemy Unknown next year.

“The title is proving to be a critical and commercial success,” says 2K Games, adding that the game “is being supported with two downloadable add-on content packages available this year, with additional content planned for 2013.”

So far, the title has two DLC packs: the already-available Elite Solider Pack and the upcoming Slingshot Content Pack. It contains three new maps, but hasn’t yet gotten an official price or release date. According to 2K Games, gamers “meet an enigmatic Triad operative, divert an alien ship’s course, and do battle with the aliens in the skies over China.”
