A Bin Laden inspired manhunt in Medal of Honor: Warfighter’s latest DLC pack, ‘The Hunt’ aka ‘Zero Dark Thirty’ in the US.
According to CVG, the pack is available on PC today, and tomorrow and Wednesday on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in the US and UK respectively.
This pack is free if you purchased the Limited or pre-order copies of the Deluxe Digital Edition - otherwise, it’ll cost you 800 MS points, $9.99 or about R86.
The two maps in the DLC pack are based on the hunt for Osama Bin Laden and his capture in Pakistan.
‘The Hunt’ DLC pack contains two new maps – Darra Gun Market and Chitral Compound. According to level designer Marc Janas, this is what you can expect from the two maps.
The Darra Gun Market map contains a scenic river crossing with high intensity combat over the ravine, the gunsmith pit which is right along the docks, and the abandoned estate that provides an overwatch for the entire middle section of the map. Players of each class will find areas that support their play style – there are great sniper positions, as well as several sneaky routes located around each of the objectives.
Janas described the Chitral Compound as providing great sniping opportunities, within a fortified compound and roof-to-roof combat.
‘The Hunt’ DLC pack also contains 14 new weapons camos – including intriguing things like Atlas, Blackbird, Neptune, Gunslinger and Ranger – and several new weapon attachments.
