Guinness Record Set for GamingThu, 22 Nov 2012, 1:52 pm by Rob Clegg, Do Gaming journalist Tags: Guinness Record, Black Ops 2, Call of Duty An Australian gamer has set a Guinness World Record for “longest video game marathon” by playing Black Ops 2 for 135 hours over seven days. According to the Guinness rules, anyone who attempts to break the world record is allowed a ten minute break every hour. These breaks can be saved up to allow the player to accumulate longer breaks for sleeping and eating. It actually doesn’t seem like that much but 135 hours of gaming is pretty intense.
