Guinness Record Set for Gaming

An Australian gamer has set a Guinness World Record for “longest video game marathon” by playing Black Ops 2 for 135 hours over seven days.

According to a report on GameInformer, Australian gamer, Okan Kaya set the new world record by hitting 135 hours of gameplay in just seven days.

According to the Guinness rules, anyone who attempts to break the world record is allowed a ten minute break every hour. These breaks can be saved up to allow the player to accumulate longer breaks for sleeping and eating. It actually doesn’t seem like that much but 135 hours of gaming is pretty intense.

The previous record was held by a Canadian who accumulated 120 hours playing Resistance.
