For those that don’t know, the Grand Theft Auto V (GTA V) release date was scheduled for earlier in the year but has now been delayed until 17 September.
According to the Rockstar Newswire, the four-month-delayed release date will come as a disappointment to many but Rockstar maintains that it will be worth the extra time . Rockstar's only reason, however, is the game needs ‘a little more polish’ to be of the standard they require from such an ambitious and complex title.
“To all Grand Theft Auto fans, please accept our apologies for the delay, and our promise that the entire team here is working very hard to make the game all it can be.”
Rockstar ensures gamers that the development team is doing all it can to make sure the game will meet, if not exceed, expectations.
