Recently, gamers were complaining (imagine that) about Grand Theft Auto V (GTA V) not coming to PC and so they started a petition.
The petition in question needed to get 100,000 people behind it after Rockstar announced there wouldn’t be a PC version. After just a couple of days, the signatories now exceed that of the 100,000 needed and the target has been changed to 150,000.
Where will it stop? Nobody knows. There’s no clear reason why these specific numbers are needed anyway.
As with most other online petitions, the involved parties have declined to comment. Obviously everyone who owns a PC and not a console wants the game to come to PC but is an online petition the way it’s going to reach the people at Rockstar?
All the other games in the Grand Theft Auto series have come to PC, mostly through Steam, so it may just be a matter of time before GTA V follows the same route. Strangely though, Rockstar’s Red Dead Redemption still hasn’t come to PC and there’s no indication that it ever will, so hopefully Rockstar feels like listening to its audience at some point.
