Green Day: Rock Band Release Date

Green Day: Rock Band is set for a worldwide release on 8 June 2010 for PlayStation 3 (PS3), Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii.

The game is planned to be the same as The Beatles: Rock Band with a whole selection of songs from only the artists. The setlist will feature 47 Green Day tracks which will all be able to be sung in a three-part vocal harmony just like The Beatles.

All of the songs will be exportable to Rock Band, Rock Band 2 and even Rock Band 3 on the PS3 and Xbox 360. Some songs from the setlist will include songs from their very early days such as “Basket Case” all the way to the more recent hits like “Boulevard of Broken Dreams”.

The game will take players through the story of the history of the band and will feature the likeness of all three band members, Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tré Cool. As players progress through career mode, players will be given access to pictures, photographs and rare and unreleased band related videos.
