God of War Beta Planned for January

Sony Santa Monica plans for a January release for the God of War: Ascension multiplayer beta.

According to the US PlayStation blog, the studio has said that PlayStation Plus members will be given access to the God of War: Ascension multiplayer beta on 8 January.

In the beta there will be two modes: a team deathmatch and a free-for-all deathmatch called Favor of the Gods. Players will need to kill both normally and brutally to earn points to help their team along the way to victory.

The full game is scheduled to be released on 12 March 2013 exclusively on PlayStation 3.
