Free Tabards Offered for WoW Birthday

World of Warcraft will be celebrating its eighth birthday on 23 November and as a thank you, Blizzard is offering the community free stuff.

According to Battle.net, players who log into the game between 18 November and 1 December will receive a unique Feat of Strength achievement as well as a Celebration Package item. Upon its use, the item will kick off the celebrations with fireworks and will apply a cosmetic tabard to your character with some bonuses.

The bonuses from the tabard include an eight percent bonus to experience and reputation gains from any enemies defeated while the celebration is active. In addition to these free cosmetics, Blizzard has supplied gamers with a birthday video to reveal some of the story over the years.
