Dragon Age 3: Inquisition is set to be something spectacular as the development studios have done nothing but talk the game up, so gamers are really looking forward to seeing what’s on offer.
Talking to OfficiaXbox Magazine, Neil Thompson, BioWare art director, said that the artists for Dragon Age have done some amazing stuff.
“Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age 2 were both done using BioWare’s own Eclipse engine, and it was starting to creak a little bit when Dragon Age 2 came out. Inquisition is being done on the Frostbite 2 engine and it is an astonishingly powerful engine,” he said.
Thompson went on to say that the artists were slightly disappointed with their work in the final product of Dragon Age 2 on the Eclipse engine but says on a weekly basis, he is being blown away on the current Frostbite engine.
