Dragon Age: Inquisition – What to Expect

Electronic Arts has released a new trailer for Dragon Age: Inquisition and for those of you who love your RPG, this may be right up your alley.

The release date on the video in question says 10 October but we have contacted local Electronic Arts South Africa offices who tell us that we will be receiving the game on 7 October which is altogether shocking (that we get it earlier) and awesome.

The game, developed by Bioware, will fuse elements from both Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age 2 and will feature larger environments with more exploration this time around. Something that has been worrying me since it was announced though, is that combat is going to be a little different. It’s going to focus more on the ability of the player to prepare for battle, take up a good position and form a cohesive team with part members which will require less button bashing but more thinking.

The best thing about it is that the tactical view will return to the game so players can once again enjoy that isometric view they so loved in Origins. The view was removed from Dragon Age 2 which was one of the reasons I struggled to play it.

Things are looking quite good for Dragon Age: Inquisition so far, so it’s definitely something to add to your wish list for later this year.
