For those who took to the multiplayer online battle arena of DOTA 2 this past weekend, you may have noticed that Valve have introduced a new ‘Least Played’ mode to the setup.
‘Least Played’ mode matches players who are forced to use heroes other than their 20 most used or those who have given them the most wins. Essentially persuading players to explore the game’s full roster of 96 heroes and try new things.
"Having an even playing field for everyone in the match will hopefully encourage players to break out of their comfort zone and try new heroes," Valve said on the Dota blog .
The update also introduces a number of bug fixes and bots for both Drow Ranger and Warlock.
Dota 2 is a multiplayer online battle arena video game developed by Valve Corporation and the stand-alone sequel to the popular Defense of the Ancients mod for Blizzard’s Warcraft III.
